The 76 ball was rolled to the youngquist residence by lynne and donnie poole. It was at a later date used as the center of a ritual dancing for the harmonic convergence-at the behest of brook who was sure the world would end if we didn't-so we all did. john hicks invented the 76 ball "carnival ride" whereby we would crawl inside and motivate it much like a hamster ball. It's final-but glorious-moment was being painted as a giant jack-o-lantern and then hoisted atop the youngquist front porch roof for all our acid loaded heads halloween fun. all the detail is just in case you doubt my information. by the way, I have the memory of an elephant and many johnson city stories, but seeing as how this seems to be a political forum rather than a johnson city stories forum, I have refrained from writing here. with love and remembrance from ann triplett holdam.
