Actually, if he were a soldier overseas wanting to defend his country, he would go on a beer run to Alabama instead.....

And I note that Bush is reframing the question... That brave Tennessee soldier (makes ya proud to be a volunteer don't it??) asked why they had to go thru a dump to find scrap for makeshift armor, not "Are we getting the best we can get us?" A question the media should be asking is why American soldiers are having to crawl thru foreign dumps for thier supplies when Haliburton is being overpaid for it's logistics contracts?... but I am not holding my breath on that, it being the president's media and all......
