No, I fly over Cornelia Fort alot as we turn to land, but that tiny little runway there scares the rat shit out of me! I have been flying out of Nashvegas International this summer, which is no where near as busy as you would think. Sometime (probably next summer at the pace I am going) you and John will have to go up with me.

So, Bill, do I deduce that you are working on your pilot's license?

Well some would say second childhood, some would say compensating,,, I figure it is because I wanted to for sometime and now have the cash to. Plus I want to be able to get to the beach without driving all day, and I want to see Ric and Marsha's kids whenever a long weekend comes around.

At least I don't think I am compensating.....

Lol, but of course,,, when I read the post from spookygrrl above, I thought to myself "there is only one girl that could legitimately claim to have been there when Final Curtain was born"

How have you been Jenny? I hope your father is well, I think of those times at ETSU with great fondness and want to look you guys up next time I get to JC

Nifty, Bill. Lots of pilots in my family, both brothers, one sister, a neighbor who was my brother's friend, my dad...really, about the only thing my dad ever did that evens his otherwise very shitty karma out was introduce a whole lot of people to the joy of flying. Sadly, I dropped out of ground school in high school because all that vector shit + algebra 2 = way too much math for me. But if our neighbor friend ever moves back from Indonesia, he makes noises about mentoring me through it some day. But now I also have that middle aged female thing Brook mentions about just feeling foogley around planes anymore, which is just WEIRD and inexplicable, because I even used to love all the inverted shit. So who knows. But that kicks ass, bro.
