It poses a question...

Recently Sen. George Allen (R-VA) is quoted as saying that he was "at a Gay Pride Festival in Philadelphia, and there was a peaceful group reciting verses from the Bible across the street. They were arrested for assault."

Ok, so if he wasn't arrested himself, and surely the dreaded liberal MSM would have reported that, it kinda makes you wonder what Sen. Allen was doing at a gay pride festival.......

well, coincidences abound in life. circa 1993...for instance, when we lived in chicago and the inlaws came to visit, we decided to take them to a really nice, authentic mexican restaurant and it had outdoor seating and atmosphere and the whole dining pleasure shit (like you cant get at kfc, anyway...) and we were people watching and we starting noticing half way thru the appetizers, alot of extremely openly gay people everywhere...like we were in the midst of a bee hive, but every bee in the hive was a raging queen.
and my father-in-law was getting agitated, etc... but he stayed and ate, hell, i was paying, and then after the meal, i volunteered(since i am from tennessee, what else could i do?) to march the seven blocks or so to get the car and pick every one up at the restaurant door.
i walked around the first block to discover that we were at ground zero of the gay pride parade staging area. i came upon a small army of punker fags with 100's of piercings each festooned in high contrast colored (black white and safety red and green) leather and pleather and jack boots and punk rock stench and one of the fella's was wearing a tshirt that said "jesus is coming: you gonna spit or swalla?"

going alone to retrieve the car: that's how i saved the life of the facist-racist-homophobe father of my wife.
